For everyday use, cotton tablecloths are the best option. Cotton tablecloths are easy to maintain. Polyester tablecloths are also a good choice as they’re wrinkle resistant and stain resistant. If you’re looking for an elegant option, you should opt for a linen tablecloth.
How do you buy a tablecloth for your rectangle table?
You need to measure the table length and width. Then you need to add twice the desired drop to each side’s dimensions. For example, if your table measures 42” wide and 72” long and you want a 10” drop, you need to add 20” to table length and width. This equated to a 62” x 92” tablecloth.

How many inches should a tablecloth hang over a table?
If you’re planning to use a tablecloth for a casual event or everyday use, a six to eight inch drop should be perfect. For more formal events, you should opt for a tablecloth that has a 15-inch drop.
Do you offer PVC and velvet table cloths?
We don’t sell PVC and velvet tablecloths. Our tablecloths are available in cotton, polyester, linen, and spandex.
Commercial grade polyester tablecloths are a great substitute for a vinyl tablecloth.
